Description

Plan chests store flat works such as drawings, prints, engravings, maps, posters and textiles horizontally in wide, shallow drawers. Each chest keeps the same shell and takes 4, 5 or 7 drawers, 125, 100 or 70 mm high, and chests stack up to three high on a fixed plinth or a base with castors.

Drawers run on ball-bearing runners with soft stop, front anti-shock and anti-tilt devices, carry up to 40 kg and open to four fifths of their depth. A rubber seal around each drawer keeps out dust, and a central lock closes the chest. Drawer dividers, index card holders and glass or acrylic drawer covers are available.
