Description

Mobile archive shelving puts rows of double-sided steel shelving on wheeled bases that run on rails fixed to the floor. Only the aisle you need is opened, so the room holds more files, binders and archive boxes than fixed shelving in the same floor area.

Rows are pushed by hand or moved with a three-spoke handwheel geared through a chain drive, so full rows move with little effort. The layout is drawn for each room, with the rails set into the floor screed, laid on the existing floor with ramps, or fitted in a raised floor.
