UNITEC is the entry-level work chair from Bimos, the industrial and laboratory seating brand of the Interstuhl Group. Bimos builds it for correct sitting in production and describes it as suitable for virtually any application.
It comes in a low version (seat height 440–620 mm) and a high version with foot ring (580–850 mm), on glides or castors; the high version can have Stop & Go castors that lock under load, in line with the safety requirements of DIN 68877. Every model has a permanent-contact backrest, seat and backrest height adjustment and an anti-shock lock. Upholstery is PVC-free synthetic leather, integral foam, beech plywood or Citadel fabric, with optional 4D armrests, and an ESD version is also available.
