The Couple Coffee Table is a refined meeting of FSC™-certified solid oak and ceramic stoneware, designed by Belgian designer Sylvain Willenz for Muuto. Inspired by the traditional tile table, its tactile ceramic top is a gentle nod to the durability of brick, in look as well as in quality.
The tabletop is made of loose ceramic tiles that rest on the oak frame, held in place by rubber anti-slip pads. Choose plain tiles for a calm, functional surface, or combine them with a wavy tile for a more sculptural feel. The tiles are treated with a stone sealer for extra stain protection, and the frame comes in oak or dark oiled oak with pre-mounted felt glides.
Available in three sizes, from a slim 40cm-wide version to a generous 120cm coffee table with plenty of room for books and objects, with tiles in sand, taupe and blue tones. Size, tile combination and frame finish are specified at the time of order.

To initiate a warranty repair, please contact our customer service team at returns@takis.com. Provide your order number and details of the issue. Our team will guide you through the repair process and arrange for the item to be fixed.
Tabletop: clean with a damp cloth and a mild detergent, then dry with a cloth; remove liquids and grease immediately. Re-seal the tiles with a stone sealer on delivery and 1–2 times a year. Frame: treat with oak wood oil when necessary (a white-pigmented oil for oak, a smoked oil for dark oiled oak). Keep away from direct heat sources.
