SCALA is a modular laboratory furniture system from Waldner, Germany. Benches stand on H-frames, C-frames or cantilever frames, or on load-bearing underbench units, and mobile tables complete the layout.
Underbench units sit on a plinth, on castors or are suspended, with doors, drawers or full-height drawers. Suspended, top-mounted and tall laboratory cabinets, service spines for wall and island benches, and safety cabinets for acids, alkalis, flammables and gas cylinders complete the system. Worktops are available in stoneware, melamine resin, solid-grade laminate, polypropylene, epoxy resin, glass or stainless steel.
