Kastel is an Italian seating manufacturer founded in 1979 and based in San Vendemiano, near Treviso. It designs and makes chairs, task and executive chairs, stools, armchairs, sofas, beam seating and tables for offices, contract projects and homes.
Ergonomics is measured rather than claimed: Kastel was among the first Italian companies to certify an office swivel chair under Decree 626/1994, holds ISO 9001, and a selection of models meets EN 1335 and EN 16139.
Seating is made from fully recyclable materials and designed for low-energy assembly and disassembly. Kastel offers CAM-compliant products verified by Bureau Veritas and holds FSC® certification for its wood.
