840 EVO is a desk-and-seat monoblock for lecture halls and large teaching rooms, in first, intermediate and last-row versions. Its sturdiness comes from careful design and from experience gained installing tens of thousands of classroom places.
The 30 mm postformed laminate top sits on a beam that also forms the bookshelf and carries the seats; oval-section legs hold the row, and beech plywood seats tip up on pressed-steel mechanisms with two tempered-steel torsion springs under a nylon cover. Options include an anti-panic folding top with handle, laminate-faced or RAL-coloured seat and back, deeper tops, solid beech edges and a cable channel with power and data sockets. A version with square-cornered seat and back is also available.
